If you squint your eyes, the above album looks like MILFS.

Currently listening to Morcheeba.

I was initially skeptical about Kevin Parker's ability to successfully transition into a more synth-driven sound, but after hearing Currents in full for the first time I consider it an early contender for album of the year. The amount of thought that went into the layering of each sound on this album rivals the obsessiveness of Brian Wilson, but the atmosphere of Tame Impala's work is quite a different brand of psychedelia, as longtime fans are already well aware. While I still love the guitar-driven sound of Innerspeaker and Lonerism, the decade-leap direction that Parker has taken for this new album is astonishingly good.

I saw that. I'm just making my way through these recent releases.

Gave it a quick stream. I agree w/ AMG in that it was a bit front loaded. Not quite up there with Kill on Command for me-but very enjoyable style per my tastes in OSDM.

I have been listening to BTBM-mostly on your postings and recommendation. Probably need the lyric sheet to get the whole concept. Dig it. Good varied prog and metal for sure.

Breaking in my new Grado SR80e's with, among other things, some Steve Tibbetts "Exploded View" at 24/96 through Audirvana+ and an Audioengine D1. Trying the S and L pads and with both, they sound fantastic! Way more sensitive than my modded HD580s and expectedly, way more up front!

I still enjoyed it but it definitely was a disappointment overall.

**** yea! Haha. I think BTBAM is a metal band that can fully crossover - unlike Opeth, for example.

^ Reminds of those super silly album covers some rappers put out. Utterly uninspired OMG.

Haven't heard Björk in the longest time! Some really throat-grabbing emotional pieces. Phew! Greatest hits captures the very good stuff of Post, Homogenic and Vespertine. What a woman
