You know how you get stuck on a song........well, whenever this was a hit I heard it. Then one day years later, a couple of bars and lyrics popped into my head and took me 6 months of asking everyone I thought would know to help me figure out what song it is!  LOL Finally an old radio rep of mine came up with it.

I must have listened to it 10 times in a row a few different times WHY?

Wow does that trigger the "Way Back" machine! I saw Donnie Iris perform that live while I was playing pool about 20 feet from the stage in a small Minnesota bar back in 1981 or 82....Great tune....

Wow you got to see him and it must have been LOUD!  Are you any good? I could run a rack or two of 9 ball back in the day:)

This must be 20 years later? And HE still kills it. Back up singers not so much but he still has it.

Ha, Ah! Leah! comes up on Sirius or other 80's music stations,it was a minor hit in the day and will get stuck in your craw for a spell...
Over shadowed by The Cars and Billy Squier tunes in that time.

If there ever was a song played to death on a high school cafeteria jukebox it was Gary Wright's 1976 'Dream Weaver'
Between that and his other hit 'Love is Alive' we were doomed during lunch hour.
Churning out the pop anthems around the same time as Donnie Iris.
