Finally found the time to rip both discs and add all the track info according to the best of my knowledge. In typical Japanese fashion the album is excessively loud; the first track has an average bit rate of 1228 kbps when converted to Apple Lossless. That might be a new record for me. Typically the louder the track, the higher the bit rate tends to be. Still, in a quick track by track comparison to the iTunes version, which I had already purchased in the past, the CD rip is a clear winner. Dunno if the differences are just between lossy and lossless, or if there are also small differences in the actual mix - not interested enough to do a more thorough comparison just to find that out. So glad I bought this CD now, even if it is loud as hell (mixed by Shuichi Watanabe and mastered by John Davis).
