How does that 24k sound anyway, any sonic difference?

It sounds awesome. One of my favorite discs. I have nothing to compare it to. I try to do it right the first time.  If you can swing it, track down all The Cars gold Cds. They are all great.

Love the whole album! One of their most underrated albums imo. While Dark side of the Moon is one of their most overrated ones.
Altough i should say it's some prety nice ear candy!

Does anyone know some great opera music? I feel like listening to opera. The low voice italian style good ol fashioned opera.

While I love "Dark Side Of The Moon", "The Final Cut" is definitely my favorite Floyd album.

As to opera if it must be italian then "Rigoletto", "Nabucco" or "La Traviata" by Guiseppe Verdi are great stuff. As to non-Italian opera I like Wagner's "The Flying Dutchman" quite a bit as well as Mozart's "The Magic Flute" - the "Queen of the night" aria from the last one is among the most famous pieces of opera.

On my part I'm listening to

Heitor Villa-Lobos - Guitar Concerto, 12 Etudes, 5 Preludes
Narciso Yepes - Guitar
Garcia Navarro - Conductor
London Symphony Orchestra

Morph the Cat ~ Donald Fagen

The first solo album in 13 years from Donald Fagen, Morph The Cat is another contemporary classic from half of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame duo Steely Dan. With Fagen's adventurous musical depth, uniquely layered lyrics and entertaining subject matter (from a conversation with the ghost of Ray Charles to a romantic liaison with an airport security guard named Joan), Morph the Cat is the newest chapter chronicling the most sophisticated music in (Pop?)rock.
