Their new stuff is good, but when she sings old Nightwish it makes me want to vomit. Kind of have to view them as different bands when I listen.

And a few days ago they've parted with Anette too....
A bit sad because I thought they have finally found themselves after the change with Imaginaerum...

Actually, first time in years I dusted off my old collection of Nightwish albums. Couldn't stand the singer who took over after Tarja Turunen. Kinda forgot about the band for a while but I've been enjoying their older stuff alot the last couple of days

The regular version of the album is on Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/album/14hHycKPxl92qv0QpuaTLZ
I've understood that the recently released extended version is only available on Beatport.

These guys frustrate me. Amazing musicianship. Great guitar work and, for me, ruined by the screaming vocals...I could listen all day if I could nuke the vocals track or they could just sing normally.

Jesus...Why don't the guys just give up on Nightwish and use their 'pedigree' to start a new band? They obviously want more creative control. At this point there's no hope for the band's namesake, IMO. They just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Well, they are touring with Floor Jansen now, but they said it is just temporary.. personally I would be happy if they would keep her!
