What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Presence -- Led Zeppelin
The 36th studio album by BB King! Released in 1998, Grammy winner in 2000 for best
traditional blues album. Recorded at Dockside Studio near Lafayette, LA, the heart of Cajun
country. As BB wrote: "All live, all real. No overdubs, no high-tech tricks. Just basic blues."
Released in 2012, Grammy winner in 2013 for best blues album. Dan Auerbach joins on
guitars and production. Still feeling frustration from Katrina after eight years, this album
continues Dr. John's rant (from Tribal) about the lack of progress from the storm's devastation.
The influence of Auerbach is clearly evident on the music's feel and his playing is excellent.
One of those albums that gets better the more you listen. The nuances are sublime.
Check out this song ... he sound like Robert Johnson.

Hi Dick, that's my favourite B.B. King album. I remember buying it as soon as it came out. The King is dead but, long live the King and so he does with the music he left behind.

That's probably my favorite Dr. John album, along with City That Care Forgot. Great apolitical rants

2006 and 2007 releases respectively, both with Louisiana's LeRoux as backing band.
LeRoux adds fiddle, keys, more guitars and a tasty Cajun feel to Tab's signature sound.
Tab was awarded the 2007 B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award.
