Very nice! Do you know where it was performed, and by whom?
Welcome to Head-Fi. I grew up in Valparaiso.
Testing the rig tuned via JRMC to -0.02 or A=432Hz (vs. A=440Hz) on HD800 headphones (unmodded).
I'd been on the LCD-4 for two weeks. My first impression - the HD800 did not sound bright...but just right!
The lower pitch seems to make the HD800 more enjoyable. This music was engaging, lively, and relaxing.
A shout out to Mike @Baldr. The gadget will let everyone hear this kind of SQ improvement to their music!

Thank you! I was raised in NC, but married a girl from South Bend area, so here I am.
That recording was Sir Andrew Davis, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, in Gloucester Cathedral, where the work was originally performed in 1910. That's said to be one of the finest recordings of the work, besting even Davis' own recording on disc.
