Yes, he plays on the "Beck Scale" :slight_smile:

I agree about the multitasking while listening. I like to listen to him at night with the lights out after the wife is conked out, cocktail close by.

He always seems to play notes in between notes and it is so smooth and seamless.
Microtones...Beck's specialty. Master of the whammy bar...so good!

My wife bought me this album when it was released.
I hadn't listened to it for a long time, but hearing it again last night reminded me why I liked it so much!
I saw TJW in 1971 at Royal Albert Hall, supporting CCR.
He was brilliant.
He wrote some classic songs over the years, including 'Rainy Night in Georgia' and 'Polk Salad Annie'
Sadly, he passed away in 2018.
This album was recorded at Muscle Shoals and the recording quality is excellent.
My favourite tracks are the title track and 'You're Gonna Look Good in Blues'
