Been listening to a lot of classical music ever since I saw the West Valley Symphony perform music from both Dvorak and Tchaikovsky this past weekend.

"Mozart: Requiem In D Minor, K 626 - Sequentia: Lacrimosa Dies Illa"

Christopher Allen.

That is an amazing taste in music, have you tried out Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K622: II. Adagio By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart?

2 amazing albums.

Indeed.

Anyway, I've been listening to this today:

Photek - KU:pALM (2012)

I remember being wow'ed a year ago by this guy's "Sleepwalking", and I hadn't noticed he recently released a LP until somebody posted it here a few days ago. Overall, not too shabby, "Sleepwalking" still gives me a massive ear-boner (if such things exist).

Gordon Goodwin - Act Your Age.  John Prine - Fair & Square.

The Rezillos - Can't Stand The Rezillos (1978)

A truly great punk rock / new wave record that many people in the U.S. seem to have never heard. Too bad, because it was among the very best of the era.

Includes the absolutely blazing cover version of "Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight," a song originally released by Fleetwood Mac in 1969 while performing under the name Earl Vince and the Valiants.

Listen on MOG: 2009 reissue w/ bonus live tracks 'Can't Stand The Rezillos: The (Almost) Complete Rezillos'
