Very nice CD. It's one of few recent jazz cds that I can listen to as a whole and not skip tracks.
I'm listening to Been in the Storm So Long: Spirituals, Folk Tales and Children's Games from John's Island, South Carolina. It's a collection of field (not an actual field) recordings done in the early 60s. Bad sq, but really good, and a bit haunting.
nlt, Mike Auldridge 'Blues and blueGrass' , on Takoma Records. 1974
w/ David Bromberg, Vassar Clements, Lowell George, Ricky Scaggs, Linda Ronstadt, etc...really a great album from a consistently great label.
