Godsmack - I am.Heavy Metal.I like the distorted guitars and their sense of rythm. The lyrics, ahmmm, my pious grandma wouldn't like them.Anyway, as a nonnative speaker I can always focus on the sound and ignore the lyrics.
I wonder if there is any metal which looks at the bright side of life.
Maybe there's a contradiction between metal and positive vibes.

The Other Side - Chuck Jones and Eva Cassidy.

It's a long time since an album gave me such a "whoa!" for the voices and performances at the same time it was giving me a "hey, this is fun!" for the energy of the arrangements.

Just one big smile after another.

i have listened to this song over and over for the past 1.5 days. imagine..... the same song repeating, non-stop, for that long. my ears are still bleeding... or feels like it anyway. my gosh.

but yes, that is what i'm STILL listening to as i write this.

but i tell you this... music is incredible. it is the only universal language. and it always hits you right where it hurts the most.

Diary of Dreams "Cholymelan"

Neat soundstage effects and damn, that bass hits low and hard. Pretty cool instrumental song.

I'm surfing through some shoutcast streaming radio stations. That's great for listening to music you never heard before.Plentiful of flavours out there, and the sound quality at higher bitrates is way better than traditional am/fm radio. I'm listening via my forgiving Vincent tube hybrid amp/ AKG 240 S combo.
