I gotta say, I've never gotten as much satisfaction from any game as I did from Chrono Trigger. That game is a masterpiece, and I've played through it more than a dozen times

Additionally, I also love the Final Fantasy games to death. Can't really choose a favorite right now, since each was distinctive in a different way.

Same here (Descent, that is)! Did you used to play on Kali with all the regulars back in the day?

Gta 1
Gta 3

Dang this is hard...but to name a few I'd have to say:

Duke Nukem 3D (PC) this game was sooo fun, freeze gun woot!
Excite Bike (NES)
Duck Hunt (NES)
Jet Moto (I and II) (PS) Man, I spent many a night with this game
Street Fighter (arcade)
After Burner (arcade)
Red Alert (PC)
CS:S (PC)
The EA Battlefield's (PC) I think they are pretty fun to play at least
Contra (NES)
GoldenEye(N64)

Too many to name. You all have listed a good number of brilliant games from my childhood, I'm almost about to go back and fire up some emulators to play them. Do you guys remember Rumble in the Bronx for NES or that NES Blob game where you feed the blob different jellybeans? Man, Rumble in the Bronx ruled..."Alex, they kidnapped our girlfriends...lets get 'em" and oooohh that theme music. Good times, good times.

Interestingly some Konami games still use that code. Try it in MGS3!

Just lettin' ya know, FF6 isn't online- it was originally released as FF3 on the SNES here in the States over ten years ago. Square rereleased it as FF6 in english for the PSX as part of Final Fantasy Anthology. 11 is online, and I think it's crap.

There used to be, at least for older games, and you could get music files to play on emulators, like .NSF for nes, .GBS for gameboy and so on.
