yep Der Luda, my experience so far also. Just don't create that extra "ahhh" often enough. I do get it sometimes but on way too limited a number of recordings, where as my Lyr3/Hifiman HE560 is consistent pleasure. Sound stage I consider quite good on the Utopias, brilliantly precise and reasonable spacious (some claim its too small, I don't have any cans that do better so not small to me), separation of instruments also top notch, everything in its place with air around it But its basic voice, whether human or instrument like trumpet, violin just doesn't create instant pleasure that I'd like and that I get from my desktop
