What’s needed for an A/B session?

I’ve owned a Vali 2 with a Genelex Gold Lion for just over a year now. I just picked up the Magni 3. Normally I run my FIIO X3 II direct into my Vali then to my HIFIMAN HE-400i’s. What would be the easiest and best setup to A/B these two amps? Would it be kosher to use an 1/8 male end that goes to an RCA splitter?

If you want to a/b I think a Schiit Sys would be perfect. You need to get cables to hook up to it but a the push of a button you are listening to one or the other and without the loss of either.

Sorry that would not do what you want as you need to plug into both amps and one headphone out. There are others that will do that but you would have to put the headphone out of the amps on a cable to the Sys which is doable but like you said rca to 1/8 inch which would mean lots of special cables.
