Hi all
As my venture into Custom IEMs continues, these two now have my attention. I was set on the ES5 until I saw the new promotional price of the 8.A, which put them in the same price category.
As much as I want to own them both, my wallet doesn't allow such a purchase, at least for now. So to all those that have listened to either of these or both, please tell me which one is better in your opinion.

My source is the HT Omega Halo sound card with the Asgard as amp and Sony Walkman Z for portable listening. I listen to all genres of music.

As I already own the 1964 V6, Alclair Reference, and soon UM Miracle, I'm looking for a compliment pair of CIEMs to those 3.

Any opinion or suggestion is much appreciated.

I've pretty much decided on the Westone 5 since I got my Miracle. Based on what I read the 8.A won't be something I would enjoy.

Have you looked at the Dream Earz 7X by chance? I'm in between 8.A, 7X, and ES5 right now.

Nope, not really interested either lol.

Yeah I figured. Looks like you and I have slightly different sound sig preferences. Welp, hope you enjoy the ES5!
