So, how many of you Australians are willing to pay $500 for Westone 3 shipped?

I didn't pay $500 but I did pay $407 from Freq City and it arrived in 5 days after shipping.

In a word, yes. The TF10P phones had a definite midrange recession and a tendency towards bass bloat, these phones have a beautiful midrange, highs that are as good as the TF10P, and (somewhat tip dependent) a nice focused bass with a ton of power behind it.

that's completely subjective and dependant on the individual. Just try them all.

Well, here's to pulling the trigger. Will have impressions posted on Monday provided Earphone Solutions keep their word... which they should.

That, and a nice iAudio 7 16 gigs to go with it, for an ultra-portable rig.

Let's see how it fares vs the UM2, E500, ER-4P, ES2, stock and modified SR-001, SR-003, Omega 2, HD600, HD650... well yeah you get the idea!

To make an useless helping gest:
Norways biggest bank's valutaconversion tool makes 407 USD into 680,28 Australian. The dollarvalues was updated an hour ago, so it should be quite up to date!
