Hello, so I recently traded my Denon d2ks for a lovely pair of He400's and have them running from my Fiio e17 which up til now has done the job nicely. The bug is scratching me so I'm itching to upgrade my Dac and Amp. I've been looking at the Bifrost and Lyr combo for some time (mostly due to the price to performance ratio) and really wanted opinions on which piece I should get first dac or amp? I know that my He400's have enough volume from the Fiio but I think the Dac could definitely be upgraded as to not sound so cold.

Always get amp first.  That's my opinion anyways.
