Hey all, starting a new one of these as my interests have changed somewhat and I'm still on the search for IEMS..

I'm looking for a pair of IEMs that have a good overall sound. These will be primarily used for reggae and jazz, although I do listen to some classic rock and underground.

Currently using M6s. I love the isolation, but the sound isn't the greatest and the casing on the left one seems to be opening up a bit. Will be unamped out of an iPod Classic gen 5.5

Thanks

have you heard of Radius DDM?
It has been regarded by many as Best value IEM on the market.
For Jazz and reggae this are amazing.
Another option is DBA02. Also a dual driver (just like DDM)
There are plenty of Reviews on headfi,

I've heard great things about the Radius, but what concerns me is the isolation.. I don't want people to be hearing my music from across the room.
Also, the fit issues complaint seems to spring up a few times..

Indeed DDM #1  aren't perfect of  sure and isolation is bad but no one will hear the music across the room. Opposite, you will hear things happening around you..
One have to compromise something. Within 150$ price range there ain't another IEM with such impressive sound signature.

Not sure about the DDMs.. Still searching.

Right now I'm considering the DBA-02s and Phonak's PFEs..

I bought my AL IM716 a month ago 65$ on amazon and these sound great for Mingus, Brubeck, Davis....
They sound better podectomied with 47 Ohn Resistors.

Type IM716 podectomy on google to find the head-fi thread
