I did a search on google; here's a quote:

Made in Great Britain, but not sold there. The Original Celebrated Altoids Curiously Strong Citrus Sours. Altoids are known for being a very strong mint and now they're available as extra song sour sweets

now you understand my comment

so its popular in US?

I pm'd/emailed Itch about it, but he doesn't respond so I'll bring my question here:

I want that Playboy case seen on one of the first pages (with the tutorial). I have been searching stores, the web, eBay for a long time now.. unable to find this Playboy tin. So who has one and wants to sell it for a lot of money? (and if you are good at creating a case I want to leave that also to you

)

Thx in advance, and nice works are in this thread! I especially like the soft interior of some.

It might be of interest to UK & IRL people that Marks and Spencers do an own brand tin of mints which seems to fix the micro perfectly. If I get a moment later I'll post a pic of it. Just bought my Micro the other day, and just happen to have on of these tins at home. We're not finished the mints though.

True. You could mod it as others have here. Sand it to the bare metal, or paint it. Its just a cheap tin box afterall. Just happens to be the right size.

After looking at everyone elses lovely zen cases, I decided to create one which exceeds the style than everyone elses.

Low and behold.. my zen case

Took approximately 3 hours to do, mostly of which was sanding the case to remove the altoids paint etc... Total cost of this was around £15.... All I need now is the remote control thingy. The word "Zen" on the case is a very nice touch to the whole case. I didnt want to do anything fancy like artwork, just wanted to keep it simplistic and modern, like the micro.

If anyone would like a replica of this case, then I will be willing to make one for a fee.

Contact me at rich@design-fx.co.uk with the subject title "Zen Case" if you want to contact me in person. I am not going to use the PM system on this forum, so please don't PM me

*this case looks unbelivably genuine that I have fooled a lot of other zen micro users I know. They thought you can buy it as an accesory lol*

I just wanted to drop a quick note here and thank you guys who have posted ideas and pictures of your cases. I was inspired to create my own case from the wonderful pics I saw here and it ended up saving me at the very least some cosmetic damage to my Micro. Shortly after finishing my box, I dropped my micro (in the box) and it slid down the drive way. The unit itself seems none the worse for wear though the box sustained a very minor ding in the corner.

Sorry about the poor image quality.

I used the self stick crafters foam that was suggested earlier in this thread for the sides and a similar self stick crafters felt for the bottom and lid so that it closes properly.

Is anyone interested in buying my Zen Case? I will be listing it on ebay in the next few days, im gonna be selling it for around £10, postage will be like £1.

I have sprayed the base black, because I think that the bare metal might rust if left uncoated.
