@AuneAudio Very interested in the new S6c but I already own the S8 + S7 Pro. I have been keeping an eye on the S1c for a long time but I fear it is not possible to pair with my S8 due to the missing BNC input.

If I included the S5c which has the BNC input between the S1c and the S8, would I have any advantages?

the chain would be as follows:

S1c via BNC S5c via digital connection S8 via analog connection S7 Pro

really? i only had a x7s for a short while and placed it on top of a flat dac, so i never really thought much about it.
The bottom is completely flat so there is no problem if you place it on a flat surface.

As for the upper curved part, i repeat that there is no problem that they touch if stacked together or with any other device that has feet (all devices have them).

The curved surface issue was raised by only a few superficial reviewers.

Thanks for your interest in the S6c and the S1c:) Yes the chain is good but the S5c is more for Chinese users so it actually hasn't been officially released out of China.

The S8+S7 Pro is great!

Hi, I have a few questions for the Aune Audio team here at Head-Fi:
1. Is the XC1 clock designed to be used with the X8 XVIII DAC, and what are the benefits? Also, the X8 XVIII does not have a BNC port, how would you connect it to the XC1?
2. Is the X8 XVIII DAC a fully balanced DAC (in terms of the internal circuit design) or just offering balanced pre-output ports for convenience? Why aren't there any balanced fixed line out ports?
3. If one buys from the Aune website, will it be offered international warranty and how would a warranty claim be handled with a customer living on a different continent in terms of shipping cost?
Thanks.
