Bought some Sennheiser HD555 about 2 months ago thinking they were the overall best bang for buck in the sub $100 unamped category (bought them for around $75 from a deal I saw on this site.) So far Ive been impressed with the overall balance and sound stage just the mids tend to be veiled. Rock and prog. rock just doesn't sound at all engaging as I would like. I remembered reading about how everyone loves the Grado line for rock so I pulled the trigger on an ebay auction.
Auction entailed:
Grado SR60
Sony MDV-150
$30+$10 shipping= $40 for both HP.
I read some of the reviews and it seemed the Sony's aren't up to par. I figured I'd sell these for a couple bucks to recoup costs in shipping.
So overall was this a decent deal?
