Did lendmeurears @ ebay increase the price of the GR07s from $159 to $195 USD suddenly. I was about to purchase these from them. But I am not sure if I should wait for the price to come back to the origial price or not. Does anyone have any idea? There is another seller who is selling them for $159 though. But they are not authorized retailers.

So the GR01 is cheaper now?

Nvm, the GR01 is now $208, glad i bought mine a couple weeks ago for $183.

Im shocked to see such a price increase. I suddenly see Vsonic's sales dropping.

Wow, just picked up a pair of these last week, guess I lucked out.  Had no idea there was an impending increase.

Same thing here. I just happened to get one, and next day I hear the price increase... really lucked out on this one. Could the price increase be due to an increase in warranty period? (from 1 to 2 years, that's what I've been hearing anyway)

I find it surprising that a company would raise prices. I know it happens but it's very rare unless you are talking about having a cheaper price for pre-sale then increasing it. It's a really bad marketing move. I doubt Vsonic was losing money at $169. All of a sudden they feel they need to make $30 more profit?

It just makes it hard to recommend them now at a higher price. The GR01 was already the most expensive TWFK based BA, besides the CK10. The R50, B2, and DBA02 were already cheaper. $208 for the GR01 is just high.

Hmmm. I think I need to find something else for me now.

For about ~150-160 max.

So, this is why I noticed GRO1's price go up in my ebay watch list from $176 to $196 last week. I'm not sure lifting GRO7 MK2 price is going to help sales. Luckily I bought mine for $151 from a excellent seller who suddenly stopped selling them internationaly due to their popularity in-store.

I don't know if I could call GRO7 worth $195. It's lendmeurears who will suffer, people will find them elsewhere at their original price before stock runs out.

Why not?   There are few IEMs under $200 as good as the GR07.

But you do have point...the TF10  now looks to be a better bargain.  However, if you add a cable to the TF10 you will spend around $200 or more anyway.  If you can get them for the Black Friday price of $99 they are the best bang for the buck IEM you can buy.

The store that sell them on Amazon always had them for $179.  If they raise the price to $220 or so then...ouch.
