thank you for that link. I was already afraid they would not support LTE800.
Oh well lets move on to Meizu Pro 6 and dream about a DUAL SIM phone with real audio capabilities. Although deep down I know that also Meizu wont support the LTE800

Looks interesting, though I'd qonder how to buy it in the Philippines without too much markup.

That, or I could just wait for the p9 max or v20.

Here are some articles and reviews in Chinese for the XPlay 5 that discuss its audio capability. If you can't read Chinese characters and want to use Google Translate, just search for "Hi-Fi" in the longer articles to find the relevant sections. These all discuss the standard version, as the Elite / Ultimate model with Hi-Fi 3.0 is not available yet even in China:

Hey guy's.
I just receive my Vivo Xplay 5S two days ago.
My first impressions is: that think is soo good!
It has a more power then LG V10 & Meizu MX4 Pro/Pro 5. I think this phone is on the same level like Dx100. I hear Ibasso last week with my MDR-Z7, and now I'm listening with Sonys on my new Vivo. Yes, Dx100 have a little more power (remember this is dedicated DAC) but I think than the rest is very similar. Let's talk about the phone function, becose is very important, and I say that Vivo do very good job here. It's very fast, simple (like iOS), beautiful, have everything on it place. In pass I have couple of flagships, like IPhone's, Samsung Galaxy's, HTC One's and others, so now I think this device is the best I ever have! The fingerprint scanner: OMG, so fast, so smooth, it's faster than my finger XD, recognized every time! So, this is my first impressions, when I got some flagships headphones I do some review and post here :D

The XPlay5 Standard Edition doesn't have so called Hi-Fi 3.0. It's using Cirrus Logic CS4398 and AD45257 amp, so it's basically an over-priced garbage.

I'll certainly try the ultimate version, with 2*ES9028+3*OPA1612. Will let you know the result.

Isn't CS4398 cirrus flagship DAC?
