VE - A New and Impressive Earbuds Brand
Dec 16, 2015 at 5:52 AM Post #2,657 of 3,324
@DJScope sent me a few IEMs to play with this week, one of which are two Zen earbuds from VE.

He thought it would be a good idea if I came into this thread and mentioned how much I'm enjoying them.

While I didn't like the Duke IEM from VE I'm quite impressed with both Zen earbuds, especially Zen 2.0. I need something quite powerful to drive them at full potential, however I'm extremely pleased with both of these earbuds, also the cable is unique on Zen 2.0. My ears are rather large, getting them to sit correctly takes some trail and error, but its immediately clear these are wonderful sounding earphones.

I will keep playing them with them over the next couple of weeks.

The Zen 2.0 arrived this week and I can say is I have no regret giving up the Zen 1.0 for this. The SQ is just outstanding. I'm using it with Earhoox rubber ring but without the ear support and P1 as source. Thank you Lee for the exchange program and the great bargain. Wish you and VE Electronics more success in the future.

What is the difference between 2.0 and black edition, and are they both $138?

The black edition uses Cardas cable and is significantly more expensive.

Fit isn't ideal for me, but really enjoying sound of Zen 2.0 so far. JDS C5D seems to drive them pretty well... these are probably the only headphones I have that actually need it

Really working well so far with contemporary R&B stuff like Phony Ppl and The Internet.
