OK, I gave the JAN Sylvania 5670 a little more love tonight, and I will say that is a great tube for EDM of various types. Very balanced, but also extremely tight across the board. Good one for playing with an EQ if you have one in line and enjoy that kind of thing.

NOS-6922-ADAPTED GE 5670W and 5670 to 6922 Adapter Combo (1) @ $24.95 = $24.95
Comes with a GE tube as well..

Will play and see if I want to jump into this rabbit hole!

Tesla 6CC42 make me and my Vali2 happy. So far the best from that family of tubes IMO

It is bad that I bought an antique-y looking box to keep on the bookshelf to store said tubes, and when it arrived I was like "hmm that's bigger than I thought" and then went and bought up a bunch more tubes of my (so far) preferred variants?

Not bad at all. There's no worse sin in the Tube Rules Book of @bcowen than wasted tube storage space. Other than wasting space storing GE 12xx/6SN7 tubes.

LOL! It's always best to have some extra storage space in case of a tube emergency, like what happens after scrolling through Ebay while drunk.
