Aman, Please bring your CD3000s. I would love to hear them again, and compare to my new D5000s.

Will do - I think Vlad will have his pair as well. I'm probably going to bring two rigs -
Laptop -> Nuforce uDAC -> Stax SRM-1/MK2 -> Stax 404LE
Laptop -> PS Audio DLIII or HRT Music Streamer Pro -> My tube amp -> CD3K (and *maybe* an Audeze LCD-2, depending on when those guys finally release it and how badly my wallet is hurting....)

Just put it in my calendar.

Will be there and will bring:
Laptop running Foobar2000 with some pretty sweet DSP mods -> MHDT Havana -> Luxman P1 (the unreasonably good HD-800 amp) -> HD-800/Denon 7000

Since I'm in the area now, I'll be heading over to this meet

Sounds like a great rig, looking forward to it

You're my new friend.

The 7000s are on my (very) short list of phones to save for, the Senn 600s are the other.

Is anyone else bringing the HD-600's? If not I can bring the ones I use at work with an RSA Predator (an absolutely lovely pairing).

Personally I prefer the HD-600's over the Denon 7000's, but you can let your ears be the judge of that

I haven't heard the D7000 but I'm 90% sure I'd prefer the HD600 over it as well. I hate closed headphones, in general. It'd be great if you could bring it.

So, I'm in the market for a headphone/speaker rig for the home office and I was trawling the For Sale forum here when it hit me: I definitely need to wait until the meet before buying anything other than speakers. Otherwise, I'd just be setting myself up for a major upgrade-itus relapse.

I'd love to go, but I'm certainly not going to bike there (My legs would break off, and I'd have to start crawling or hitchhiking. Not to say it wouldn't be worth it, though.) so I'm out, unless some generous soul would be wanting to drive me to and from the Blacksburg (Virginia Tech) area.

I've not even seen a tube-amp, never-mind actually hearing one.

Will there be enough power outlets? I have a 10-outlet surge protector available if someone can help me transport it there.
