I should be able to come.
If I can arrange the transportation, I'll be bringing HD650, Amperior, HM-602, and some CD's.
The last time I went to a meet, someone had an LCD-3 and a T1 hooked up to a WA6SE that was awesome.  Whoever that was, please bring it all back.

Something has come up and I may be buying some headphones as a type of collateral payment from a friend. To make a long story short, I can buy some headphones at the 400 dollars or below mark. If someone is really interested in hearing something in particular, just give me a shout.

There are a few Stax Lambdas in the Classifieds currently (I remember you mentioning that you were interested in the Nova Signature and possibly other Lambdas at one point):

Other than that, not sure...you still have your HD600 right?

You friggin jerk. You just HAD to tempt me with my favorite headphones......didn't you.

UGHHHHHHHHHH I might actually sell the HD600s for those. I think dillon would kill me.....slowly, but god I love those headphones.

I will tell you about it later, but essentially the headphones had to be sold on amazon. I have a friend who works there who owes me money. Long story.

Dang it Modulor.

At least you have good taste. The stax lambda nova signatures and the stax 404 limited editions are the most comfortable, dark, and delicate headphones I have ever heard...period. They don't have that sort of edgy aggressiveness that the HD600s, HE-500s, or LCD3s have, but they are by far more pleasurable.

I will have dillon look into making me an energizer.

You know what....yolo. I have had a long time to listen to the HD600s. Time for a change.

Hey, what can I say
redface.gif

Naturally when you were talking about them I just had to hear it to believe it haha...believe the hype.  They sound pretty great.   Dillon would have to deal, and hey...why not throw a Stax in the mix?  I see what you mean now about being sold on Amazon...perhaps you could eventually re-acquire the HD600 via Amazon later?  Sounds like the Stax is all you'd need though, and naturally I want to hear it so...YOLO indeed!

I'm sure a tube energizer wouldn't be too difficult, and there are a few diagrams out there too:

I probably would not bother with a tube energizer.

Welllllllllll hmmmm.

Is anyone else bringing their electrostatic equipment? For those of your who are, would you be ok if I brought a set of tubes to work with your amp? I would like to see how certain tubes sound with these headphones. For instance, a EL34 could make the headphones sound thin but punchy. A 350b might sound too full and not punchy enough. That type of things.

Glad to see head-fiers in my hometown. I'll likely be in town that weekend, so I'll definitely try to make it.

I can bring a pair of AD900s, and a hifiman EF2.

BTW is anyone bringing a Beyer T1 by chance?
