I've heard a bit about replacement pads for the sony v6's from Beyerdynamics.com . however I was just wondering why you would want them and do they make your headphones sound any better? thanks

Because they are velour, not pleather

They would make the V6's go around your ear, make the seal a little better, and I think make the bass more impactful?

And they're soft...and thick...and your ears dont sweat in em....

(btw, I havent heard the V6's with or without the pads, but I *do* have a set of beyerdynamics with velour pads...and these pads are worth $22... trust me man....)
