Sorry I meant HD7DJ, HD8DJ if you are looking for a bass heavy phone. Momentum Over Ear, and NAD Viso HP50, for more balanced cans.

I've been eyeing the HD8 DJ's. Hmm.

For how long have you been using your M-100's?

Since November 2012. I handle my headphones with much care too. But it happens. I am just bummed that it did. I have to use my ugly skullcandys until I get my repair M-100s back. I don't remember were I stored my Ultrasones at -_-.

tried Fiio cable on M80 today. the insert jack is horribly long. very annoying. it's too long for M80, let alone M100. and the make of the cable look so understated compared to my M100. it doesn't have both the look and functionality that can be matched with M100's build. don't know the sound though, i didn't bring my M100 to try it with.

So, M100s should be delivered any day now,

Has anyone tried this cable?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FJRPD8I/

(I know it's beats, but V-Moda don't make a 3 button cable anymore...)

Also, has anyone found the V-Cork makes any difference?

Tyll measured it. It does make a small difference. Whether you could hear it is another matter entirely, but there IS actually a difference.

Tried the m100 by directly plugging it in to my phone with that radioshack auvio cable that i bought recently..Completely blown away by the m100 sound..guess those test kiosk really screw with the true sound cause it was a world of difference!

Yeah, I asked them whether they said they are genuine, they said yes, but there are not authorised resellers.. not sure who to believe.
how would warranty work/registration on vmodas website?

Its true they are authentic but as they said they are not authorised dealer and cannot claim warranty if anything goes wrong.

If your not in a hurry you can order at v-moda's website.

You can call up addicted to audio http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/ and as for a discount. Look for george.:D

Addicted to audio has overnight shipping as well.
