or

Will these sound really great just using my iphone 5? All my music is at 320kbs (MP3 and AAC), reason I ask is because I hear a lot about amps and what not.

Both are easy to power. Only things I recommend amps with are multiple driver IEMs with crossovers and IEMs with low sensitivity and high impedance, neither of these has those. Even though the R-50 has 2 drivers, it's a TWFK which is known to be easy to power. You should be more than okay, unless your expectations are high.

Your iPhone should be able to power both of those fine, assuming they are the real thing...  I don't really trust the site with the Sony XBA-1iP (the actual model name is XBA-1iP not XBA-10IP; Sony doesn't make an XBA-10).

They make an XBA-10, 20, 30 and 40 series in Japan, they are the same headphones but they feature a gold color.

With that being said I cant be 100% sure they are real, I want them cause the mic and gold color, at least with the R-50's I'll be 100% safe, just no mic.

I stand corrected then.  With that said, your iPhone should still be able to drive those headphones.

Has anyone that has used the re0 compare these 2? I had the re0 and while solid it didnt blow me away, I have been told the r50's are really fantastic for its price and the xba1's are really suprising.
