I'll be there via Speed Channel...maybe next year I'll be able to do the real thing.

We'll see if Kimi or Schumi can fare any better this time around.

I'd love to go. Even more, I'd love if they made the US GP at Laguna Seca, since I can get there in less than three hours (and just blasted love the central coast). Nothing would be more fun that watching those nuts negotiate the corkscrew at 18,000RPM

I wonder if both the SA's would crash within 3 laps?

Personally, I think a night race at Bristol would be fun, but it'll never happen for various reasons.

dudes !!!!

great to see some F1 fans around here, wow !!! I've followed F1 forever, but since I moved to the US...well, it just is not the same thing as it is in Italy where I grew up.

By the way Briatore and Alonso were having dinner here in manhattan last Monday at Cipriani downtown. I wish somebody put some poison in their food so MS would have a chance this Sunday ... Just kidding, Alonso is great, I would not want to hurt him. I feel he might be the only driver I like after MS, and MS is ... well he's done it all I doubt there's much future for him.

hahaha, giovanni.

I have nothing but respect for Fernando. He is a skilled driver with determination and a good attitude, and it doesn't hurt that the Renaults are fantastic cars. He's been free of the technical probs that keep plaguing poor Kimi (who I like a lot, despite his monotonous speech patterns) or the probs Schumi has had (or has caused for himself).

That being said, I favor Schumi above all. He has the drive (no pun intended) and skill to be champ again if he can catch a break and/or pull his stuff together. Maybe not this year, but hopefully next. I'd love to see him win the championship just 1 more time before he retires.

As for Kimi, if we can get him in a car (like the Renaults) that won't keep breaking down (e.g. last year's championship, this year at Monaco, the clutch probs at Montreal, etc), I think he'd give Alonso a strong run for his money. Plus, I just like the Iceman, even if he won't do animal poses like Alonso and instead just guzzles the champagne

MS has given me as a long time Ferrari tifoso so much fun and excitement and happiness that ... whatever he does now does no longer matter much to me. I do wish the Ferrari to be more competitive though...lets see what happens.

I'll be at the track all day Saturday and Sunday

I have only watched one or two Grand Prix races, but I love racing in general (at least on infield/road coarses). I have been to a race at Indy once before, but it was NASCAR.

What I would really love to see some day is WRC
