I just got a Creek OBH-21SE Headphone Amp, which has done wonders for my AKG K7XX and K553 PRO headphones. Now I am looking for a DAC that I can pair with them to up the clarity some more. Any recommendations?

Modi 2 is the best value in my opinion. It looks great, sounds great, and may be the only dac you'll ever need. If you need optical, you can get the Uber version but other than I/O they seem to be the same. Good luck!

Excellent choice, they are really underappreciated here on Head-Fi for some reason, schiit seem to get all the glory.
