Hi guys,
 
I've been doing some research and looking to upgrade my HD-25-II headphones for something else. Not sure if i've just had bad pairs, but both my most recent headphones have been Sennheisiers and the build quality has been lacking.
 
I'm reasonably happy with the sound of the HD-25-II but looking to upgrade. I'm reasonably flexible with budget, and predominantly listening to metal/death metal type music.
 
Any specific ecommendations? Appreciate it.

The Amperior parts are interchangeable right? If someone order and replace them to the HD25-II will there be an improvement?
