I am looking to upgrade my headphones from the HA-RX700's to something a little better. I have been considering a few choices between the much recommended ATH-M50s and several others. I listen to music and game on my headphones. I have seen that the m50s don't have a wide soundstage for gaming. Are they comparable to the soundstage or better than my ha-rx700s. I have also looked at the AD700's which have a wider soundstage but I need something similar to what I have that is closed and has some decent isolation. Any other suggestions is appreciated; I have about $100-120 to spend.

Can look into the A700 which is close.

You can mod the RX700s with Dynamat Xtreme, about $13 off eBay, sold as a licence plate kit (4" X10" sheet of Dynamat).
