Hey Head-fi,


Which color would be the best? I am convinced that the UM2 are the IEMs for me to play out of an Ipod as my portable choice of listening. But................now the hardest decision, which color should I go with ?

Also could you guys do me a favor and post pictures of your UM2s hopefully I get at least one in black and one in clear being worn.

Clear is clearly coolest.

Whichever color you choose, you wont be disappointed with the UM2's. I have the clear ones.

I can see why people choose the clear. I figured because they are less noticeable, but wouldn't they look like hearing aids?

I'd go with clear too, they look like hearing aids so people tend to bother you less about them. Although they look confused when they try to talk to you, but you can freak them out by saying:

"Don't worry they're workin' fine, they selectively tune out people I don't like"

Clear UM2 with black shure 'olives' tips, the olives help to get tighter bass and more open highs, though the complys are a bit more comfy.

Clear will look rubbish after a while.

I got my SF5pros in clear because I thought it looked kinda cool, but now the novelty has worn off. Black will be much more practical.

The black ones do look a little 'cheap' because of the plasticky finish. Clear would be a better choice.

New version looks like realy amazing and I didn't find new version with black colour sorry. I am sad becose I ordered and still wait on the Head-Direct RE1 (150ohm brb) but I had buy UM2...I didn't know about them it is shame.
