The EQ and LDAC support plus the robustness and polish of the app make it a far better experience than any other portable DAC I've tried or heard about.

If only they would upgrade to a more recent chip from Qualcomm and use the more robust 4.4mm standard..
Maybe add some form of ANC too. That would be a first

110% with you RE: 4.4 mm. Drives me crazy having to buy 4.4mm cords or use adapters just for the 5K. Every other balanced port on every dac/amp dongle I've ever used is 4.4 except the 5K.

And I love the size of the 5K but if you make it a little thicker to accommodate 4.4 it loses none of its appeal for me.

I had a good feeling that finish would look nicer in person than in more zoomed out lifestyle photos. Still selfishly wish it was a new chassis/more interesting design, but it looks nice for what they went for.

600 DNA with openness and bass is definitely justifying my pre-review pre-order.
