I'll be updating this thread in a few days with more information about finding a modder that was willing to take on the Sony MH1 for a recable project. Big thanks to sfwalcer for helping me find him.  SPC and copper are the current options.  I currently have the copper option and will be getting my other recabled in SPC.  Pics to follow.

I'm looking for a reachable for my DBA02.  Contacted Brian at BTG-Audio twice via email over the past couple weeks but haven't heard back.  Any other options?  Not going to attempt DIY.  Thanks!

compatible with Brian's mod? My cable is shorting out on my current DBA-02 and I'm thinking of getting the replacement cable mod so that I can keep using them. The Mod is $45 and that's okay. But his cables are over $100... I'm wondering if I can have him do the mod and then get cheaper cables elsewhere...

You could ask him to do the mod only for whatever pinout you need: two pin or mmcx.

I sent my DBA-02 to Brian (and paid the invoice he sent me) over a month ago (2/6) for him to do the detachable cable mod with MMCX pinouts. I haven't gotten them back yet. I emailed him once a few weeks ago (2/21) asking him when I should expect to get them back, and then again a week later (2/28), and I still haven't heard back from him about my IEMs... starting to get worried. How long did it take you guys to get your IEMs back? I'm not sure what to do next or how long to wait.
