It’s interesting if we added up all the posts about this tip subject on this thread I bet it would be over half of them, since the very beginning.

Funny and true, which is why I have avoided Mest. Anything that finicky would never work for me. I can barely get ‘ordinary’ iems to match tips. But I still read this thread for all the colorful descriptions of surprise/satisfaction by Mest owners. Must be a fun ride

I love how different tips change the SQ but in ways I enjoy - for example, I tried the ManderinEs Symbio today and definitely warmer and bit of a soundstage decrease but still wonderful overall, suits me very much for some genres. I'm finding most enjoyment at the moment with the Xelastec, CP360 and Symbio.

Anyone using the Azla Sedna shorts on there Mest MK2 ? It’s prob the best I’ve heard them. Other than spinfits, the Azla shorts are my favorite tips.

Bass vs Odin
Mid vs Elysium
Treble vs Traillii

The bass on the Odin is significantly better than the MEST OG. Both quantity, quality, richness, texture. Everything. It's not close.

I use the Azla shorts on my Z1Rs. The bore size is a good match. For the MEST OG, I use the Xelastec tips. I seem to get the best seal which enables the bone drivers better than the other Azlas. I use the non short versions of the Azlas for Odin because its bore is bigger.

I have had no such luck with the Xelastec with MKII but with OG Mest they were perfect

Very interesting. The Xelastec tips work with the MEST OG where they don't provide them. They provide them with the MKII and they don't work?

Not that they don’t work, many others love them with MKII but for me, sound is anemic.

give more time or use a size down,
after 30 minutes or so, it become more comfortable,
