how does it compare to the clairvoyance?

I know you're very excited about the 3dt but trying to weed through the hype for what it is... for me its a lot of money to spend on iems so I want to get it right...

So ... 3DT ... I stuck an ISN SPC balanced cable on it ... and these sound VERY good. The bass is there, well controlled but very present. Originally I thought the highs were a little bit edgy, though that adds to the presence. That was with the original tips. Rolling through Spiral Dots++ it tamed the edginess, but I realized it was too dull sounding. It hid what was special about these IEMs. I ended up with a perfect sound for my tastes with Sedna Earfit tips.

I don't really notice missing mids as the graphs might imply. The basic sound of the 3DT is so good I think with some tip rolling one could get the perfect sound for one's taste.

Of course, everyone's tastes differ, but I'd be hard pressed to imagine someone being unhappy with this purchase.
