Action Game mode when using the headphones? I definitely used that on my loudspeakers, GT5 and FPS games sounded phenomenal. More dynamic, spatial and crisp.

I'll have to wait and see I guess. I did try once and plugged in the headphones, and it switched to Silent Cinema mode. See if the Pure Direct mode works too? That's obviously meant to filter out any processing so give us your thoughts on the sound.

unfortunately it doesn't look like I have pure direct mode on this AVR, but I do remember reading in a manual for a different model that silent cinema doesn't work with pure direct on.

Ugh, just ordered these. Why do I order so much stuff?

I will admit, these are the nicest looking headphones I've ever seen in my life. After trying the Pro 900, I've been wanting to get these for the longest time, but the $550 price tag has always scared me away. Getting them for under $400 is a steal, and I couldn't resist any longer. I actually had the Pro 900 back in my cart at Amazon, then saw some of the posts here mentioning the price you can get them at. So I jumped on them almost instantly. We'll see how these turn out, I may even end doing a review on them. I just cannot wait to see them in person. They look soooo cool!

I can't wait to see what you think of them, you've tried a lot of headphones. I'm planning to do my review late this week or next so watch for it.

Well, I could safely assume that a Pro 900 VS Pro 2900 review is long overdue, and of interest of many people

If the 2900's are anything like my 2400's were they will leak ALOT of sound, much more than any open headphone I've ever heard.

They are close to Grados level of leakage. My sr80 was worse.
