Oh, sorry. I forgot that!
Hm... Let's say... $1000, preferable under that.

Well I don't have a ton of AMP/DAC combo experience, unfortunately.  One way to go might be to get a decent cheap DAC like the NuForce uDAC2, and a tube amp like the Woo WA6, which sounds great with the Ed 8.  Then you could upgrade the DAC later if you wanted to.

I already got a uDAC2. It's okay. But I don't have a Woo WA6. It looks quite cool, but I don't know where I can get one in Sweden...

Well I absolutely LOVE the Edition 8 from the Trafomatic Experience Head One, which is made in Serbia, but it's a little out of your price range

Oooh... Was it expensive?

Hrm, Skylab... I'm quite new to this with amps and I don't know how to connect them via USB.
I suppose I need a USB DAC or something and then I connect it to the amp?
Is this right or am I totally lost?

Yes, you take the analog outs of the USB DAC and connect those to the amp.

Actually you need a DAC and then the amp or a DAC/amp solution.

No possible way I can answer that, sorry.  Never tried them together, and I haven't had the HPT in far too long to make a guess.

Has anybody tried the ED8 with the Furutech GT-40? I feel that would be a good match for some reason, and it would be great to be able to be able to upsample some vinyl
