How does it sound..Do you have a E9 to compare with it? Or a ESW10JPN? Does it come with a hard case?

Congratulations on your new toy!

Your photo hosting site is littered with pop-ups

Yes please, impressions. Really looking for a Closed phone that could be my primary headphone. So far R10 is the only one I've heard that sounds good enough to me. LA7000 didn't impress me at a meet too much after hearing R10, but the HP4 amp I have at home is more powerful than the one at the meet(B22 or B52?), so LA7000 may sound more impressive.
Soundproofing my windows and door may be cheaper than an R10, but effectively soundproofing windows seems uncertain.

I guess I could but I just read the posted information first. Unless I think further than what is written in a post, the sig. is background information to me usually a lot like background music. Hopefully those impressions will be forth coming after some time of burn in. He certainly does have a nice stable of equipment to compare.

Ok it's now 100% official, Northern Sound & Light will reimburse all their customers that have pre-ordered the Edition 8 because Ultrasone have refused their request.

. I may be able to get one from there. As for the cable does it use the same solution as for the PRO 750/900 so I could use the same cables?

I got my refund from Northern Sound & Light today, they gave me back $979 USD + $25 USD as a compensation but I have still lost $74 CAD. (I have originally paid $1247 CAD and with the value of the Canadian dollar today, I got $1173 CAD)

It's the end of my relationship with Ultrasone and I have already sold my Edition 9 yesterday. Tomorrow, I will also put on sale my Rudistor RPX-33 because I won't need this amp anymore in the future.

I don't want to blame Norther Sound & Light for this mess because they have always offered great discounts on the Ultrasone products in the past without any incidents. Also, Ultrasone was aware since the beginning about the discount for the Edition 8 so it was their responsibility to ask the reseller to remove the advertisement 3 months ago but they didn't do anything and meanwhile several customers have pre-ordered the headphones.

On a positive note, I will take this money to purchase the new Grado Special Edition HF-2
