So i got an iMod a while back and im using a Fiio E7 with it but finding it way too bulky!
I have the 5.5G version and want a really slim amp, length doesnt matter too much TBH just thickness, and want to fit it in a jeans pocket!

Also i would prefer to buy used and on a tight budget so can spend around $65 (what i can get for E7 +shipping)

I dont need amazing quality, just need an amp to use the iMod functionality (only affects dock) i was thinking of E5, as im only using with brainwavz m2 earphones easy to drive!

What is the best cheap slim amp basically?

for that price, I'd say the iBasso T3.  Tiny, slim and multiple ways to set the gain.  For alittle more money, I'd suggest the Mustang.  In all honesty, if you've got that great iMod I'd save my pennies for a truly great amp to mate with it.  The iMod sounds glorious with, say, the Mustang, Tomahawk, or maybe one of ALO's amps  But if 75 is the budget, I'd like the T3

May just stick with the E7 then, as the amps dont really look much thinner TBH, Tomahawk and mustang look thicker!

Thanks for your help

the best choice would Leckerton UHA-4, slim and affordable, size wise, its the best match with your player.

I do love the T3 a lot but in your case, I still think the UHA-4 will be better for you either in the long run and your needs. As for the difference, UHA-4 is much beyond the T3.

However the Leckerton UHA-4 has a DAC which i dont need!
So id the i basso T3 the best option or should i save up a bit longer and get something better?

I heard the E11 is great value!

T4 is a worser amp than T3 and E11. It is very warm, lacks detail and only goes well with a bright IEM.

Would you say the E11 is better than the T3? I like bass heavy music BTW :)

Thanks

To me, E11 is on the same level as T3D. I did listen to T3 before and thought it is very close to T3D, but some say T3 is a little better than T3D. f you like bass however, E11 will probably make you smile because it can pump out some hard hitting bass.
