I forgot, did you end up getting UE's silver and/or copper/gold cable? I got their silver cable recently since the memory wire on the stock cable broke. It's built much more solid than the standard cable.

I have both silver and gold plated copper with silver cables. Even though I really like the silver, I adore the gold plated copper with silver cable.

It uses the sheathed UE style 2-pin, not the older JH 2-pin. Unless you have a really old set of UE11, then it would have the 2-pin JH style. You can also order it with MMCX.

UE's 2-pin connector is different from the standard 2-pin used by most companies. As @docholliday says, it's a sheathed 2-pin.

Afaik, the only aftermarket cable that can fit both sheathed and standard 2-pin connections is the Linum cable, because of its small profile.

Yup, at that price they were a steal. Just the right timing for me too, my favorite IEMs had just died on me and they were out of warranty. Hopefully my LCD2C is enough to keep me from constantly checking my email haha

Its funny how I started this journey with a UE Super fi 3 in 2011 and now at UE RR in 2018 so I’m sorta meeting myself back at start with the same brand but now with a potential end game.
