Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread

I am also awaiting delivery from logitech for a warranty claim that I sent in over a month ago. I was fortunate that the rep actually offered me the 900's instead of an inferior product. I was very polite and gave my rep good feedback before he made me the offer. I am a believer in being nice in these situations because more times than not, reps hear complaints all day long. Btw nux, have they given you a time frame as to when they will be shipped out?

Thanks for the reply, My rep just said that he would email a tracking# when it shipped. He did not know when it would be in stock. If UPS had not lost the package when it was originally shpped ( but later found) I would have gotten my triple fi's replaced. I am however looking forward to trying out the 900's. I have a back up pair of triple fi's just in case..

Just checked my email and I received the following response from my rep:

GOOD NEWS!!!! I just ordered you UE 900 for your replacement!

Your product should be shipped next week.

Thank you for your understanding.

I will be sure to give my impressions when mine arrive. Can't Wait!!

I'm really, really jealous of you two
It makes me wish I ordered TF10s 3 months ago and break them on purpose so I could get these bad boys
But that's just unethical, amirite?

Having a great fit is critical with these.  Sadly, I can't find one after trying all of the tips that came with it.  It's a shame that it's going back.

That's unfortunate :/ Did you get it at Apple?

However, good news is that Centerstage discount codes work now.
So if anyone has an extra code to spare, they'd save me about 1 or 2 months!

For $400 price tag, buying tips and testing it out isn't an experience I am looking for. There will be other fishes to catch.

Fair enough. I guess when you take full MSRP into account that does leave a bad taste in ones mouth. Then again I'd never pay full MSRP for an IEM generally.
