Now I am even more confused lol I am 99% positive that 2 weeks ago they had pictures of the 900s on their website. It looked like the 900 just with the red ring marking the right channel.

That's what was packaged in my UE 900s box, so I hope that's what the 900s actually are. Lol

Now Logitech support wants me to provide them with photos of my UE 900s. I have no idea where this is heading.

There are plenty of good pics online of the UE 900. Maybe you should create a Word document with a simple comparison between the 900 and your 900s. Make it simple for them... This is just frustrating. I hate dealing with clueless customer service bozos!
You would think their CS should know their products better than anyone else. It's not like they have dozens of earphones to keep up with.

Well I've sent then the comparison pics from the Japanese link posted in here not long ago. I don't know why they now specifically want to see pics of my headphones since I made it clear that they look just like the UE 900 in the pics I already sent them. They also said that a product specialist is requesting the pictures. Hopefully all of this ends with some sort of answer from Logitech, but at this point I feel like they are stringing me along since they don't have any clue what's going on.

That sucks. I think it should be OK sharing it here, unless the mods don't like it for some reason.
If the 900s looks identical to the 900 I would say it's probably the 900. Visually the 900s should have some minor changes and technically as well.
If they look like the 900 and they sound like the 900 it's most likely the 900 in a 900s box. The million dollar question is how come Logitech?

If you want to add it here, I can attach it to my ongoing customer service request I have with Logitech. Are you another person that bought the UE 900s and got IEM's that look just like the old UE 900?

im still waiting for an initial response...

It took at least a day and a half for me to get an initial response. It's been a very slow and drawn out process so far.

So, I decided to make my own cable since I got this iems.

It was probably cheaper to buy $14 cable from ebay but I wanted to get UP OCC 7n grade silver plated copper.

Braiding took quiet a longtime because it was really thin wire.

My next one should look much better than this one. (This is my first iem cable attempt with built in ear guide)

As for the sound quality I can say its bit shapper than the stock. Bit clear. Will do more listening tonight.
