Are the UE Triple Fi 5's worth making into customs. It will only be about $150 (reshell and audiologist) plus about $50 (for the earphones) to make them into customs?

I'd guess no.  You'd end up with single armature custom IEMs.  I'd guess even the UE 700 is borderline not worth it.
 
Also, you consider superfi 5's as fullsize headphones?  I think we need to review some stuff.

No. The TF 5 is mediocre to begin with and I usually just use them for mowing the lawn.
