Is UERM discontinued? I see this link to order the UERM.

Anyway, after I got the UERM maintenanced, it sounds fantastic! I wonder if the drivers degrade over the years or the bores get clogged up.

Yep, discontinued and replaced by the UERR. It seems like they just haven't fully removed the UERMs' product page, however when you try to customise it through that link, you will notice that the 2nd page where you can usually select the cable, inscription etc., will remain empty and you won't be able to check out.

To me bass is plenty boomy, not that on lighter side some people may assume. I think just at the point to being not so significant. The bass seems to be at a greater scale after the maintenance.

I think the source rides on quality of the bass as well. AK240 does output better bass than my Galaxy S8. The significance of source output is easily noticed on my SE5U, which bass quality depends on output device, and to some degee the UERM. I don't believe UERM changes much with sources. I think the S8 was definately a step up from S4(which the Ak player to S4 comparison was a lot more significant). Between the S8 and AK240, not as much of a gap(for the UERM, but for SE5U, significant), but sounds a bit different.

This year 2020 and the month of Apr.. my uerm is 8 years old now. It is still rocking and in good condition. I'm pleased, listening to it while typing my feeling here. Thanks UE.

I recall when I first heard the UERM, I was pretty amazed as I have not experienced iems of such technical level before that. It was the crappy Triple Fi 10 before that. It at the UE booth with their AK240, I sat there listening to it most of the meet's time since I was so drawn to it. This was the universal fit, and it has me thinking perhaps the universal fit was better sounding to me than the custom I've owned.

Hi all, just wanna mark down 10th years of my UERM. Yes yes yes!! It is still working in good condition except I changed a new cable last year due to wear and tear of the cable socket (the connection pin).

I agree, just listened to mine again. But much better with Earstudio ES100 BT dongle than iPhone dongle!

My OG still fit after 12 years.
