In an adjustment to what I'll bring. I'm downsized.

Sony DAS-R1
Stax SRM-717
Stax O2

But I'll bring my binaural head if anyone is interested.

Shame, I'd have loved to try out the K1000. Still, the O2 is another on my "hope to listen one day" list, so glad you're bringing it along.

I'm actually getting a Little Dot MK VII now. I'll also bring my HD650s.
If I can find the money by then I might have a DACmagic but it's unlikely.
Where can I get cryo cable and the hd650 connectors and a furutech 4 pin plug to diy a balanced cable from in the UK?
Thanks for letting me come along, I'd really like to try some RS-1s, ESW10JPNs and D5000s.

The V-Dac isn't a balanced DAC.
That's why I was getting the DACmagic, I want to go balanced, and the DACmagic with a Little Dot MK VII is the cheapest balanced SS combo I know of.

It dawned on me the other day that we've picked the prime day for fireworks! Hopefully that won't interfere too early in the evening.

Anyway, regards gear to bring, it seems I have mostly duplicates.

I will bring my PCDP (w/ line out) and CMoy amp as low end examples for those who want to hear what difference the first step makes. I'm actually interested in this myself as I now suspect that even my portables have quite good HP out, so the benefit of an amp is reduced.

I can still bring the Compass if there's going to be demand for more than one. I don't mind putting in a different HDAM but I don't really want to be swapping them about all day (or the jumpers). The Earth's has > 350 hours, the Moon has just been in to check it works.

I may need to borrow a transport for the Compass.

I'm still looking to borrow an SPL meter on the day if anyone has one.

Cheers.

Well I only have the Earth HDAM in it, it would be good to hear what the other modules sound like really.
