Just a heads up for UK HFers. July Hi Fi News has a 6 page spread on IEMs.

Models reviewed & SQ ratings by reviewer:

Audio Technica ATH -CK9 75%
Etymotic ER-4S 70%
Denon AH-C751 70%
Sennheiser CX95 85%
UE Super Fi 5 Pro 90%

The CX95 were 'highly commended' - the SF5P got 'outstanding product'. My immediate reaction was ! for the comparatively low % for Er-4S (the reviewer states he should have reviewed the ER-4P). He mostly used a Musical Fidelity X CAN v8 amp, with CD & 24/96 FLAC sources. Players unknown.

In general the UK hifi press has been doing a lot of headphone and headphone related features this year. I got my first headphone amp (the original AirHead) and ER4 after Ken Kessler had enthused about them in HiFi-News about 7-8 years ago.
